Accelya was able to initially deploy quickly, which was important, and subsequently has been very responsive when we have defined new elements such as merchandising options. In short, for us it has been a partner rather than a vendor, and one that is easier to work with.

Overview
Aegean Airlines used Accelya NDC to scale modern distribution supporting greater control, faster offer deployment and more flexible indirect channel strategy.
The partnership helped Aegean evolve its retailing capabilities while supporting a growing international network and 17.3M+ passengers annually.
Aegean Airlines is Greece’s leading airline, serving a large domestic and international network across Europe and beyond. The airline continues to evolve its distribution strategy to support growth, flexibility and a more modern retailing approach.
As airlines expand across domestic and international markets, indirect distribution becomes more complex. Growth brings more routes, more markets, more sellers and more customer expectations. For commercial teams, this increases the need for greater control over how products are distributed, how offers are differentiated and how quickly new capabilities can be introduced.
For Aegean Airlines, modernising indirect distribution was an important step in supporting a more flexible retailing strategy. The airline needed to move beyond legacy distribution constraints and strengthen its ability to manage content, channels and offers in a more agile way.
Working with Accelya, Aegean Airlines implemented FLX ONE NDC as the foundation for modern retailing and indirect distribution. The solution enabled stronger control over offer distribution and channel strategy, while supporting the rapid deployment of new capabilities.
This included the ability to introduce differentiated offers and fare families more quickly, helping Aegean respond to evolving commercial priorities with greater speed and flexibility.

Aegean Airlines operates across 159 routes in 47 countries, serving more than 17.3 million passengers annually. Supporting that scale requires a distribution foundation that can keep pace with network growth, changing market needs and evolving retailing expectations.
With Accelya, Aegean Airlines was able to scale modern NDC-based distribution across its international network while maintaining greater commercial control. The partnership helped create a more flexible foundation for future channel strategy, offer innovation and continued growth.
For Aegean Airlines, the project was not only about deploying a distribution solution. It was about working with a partner that could support rapid implementation, respond to new requirements and help the airline evolve its retailing capabilities over time.
As Aegean continued to define new elements, including fare families, Accelya provided the responsiveness and flexibility needed to support the airline’s commercial roadmap.
Improved visibility and control over offer distribution and channel strategy.
Enabled quicker rollout of new fare families and differentiated content.
Supported growth across a large international network and millions of passengers annually.
