About Hawaiian Airlines

Hawaiian Airlines is one of the leading carriers serving Hawaii, connecting the islands with destinations across North America, Asia and the Pacific. Known for its distinctive guest experience and strong regional identity, the airline has continued to evolve its commercial and distribution capabilities as customer expectations, partner needs and airline retailing models become more dynamic.

Why indirect retailing modernisation matters

Hawaiian Airlines wanted to modernise its indirect distribution capabilities to support richer offers, greater flexibility and more seamless customer experiences across travel sellers and indirect channels. At the same time, the airline was managing a significant Passenger Service System migration while moving away from legacy on-premises infrastructure.

For Hawaiian Airlines, this was not only a technology upgrade. It was a broader move toward a more agile retailing environment, capable of supporting dynamic offer distribution, operational resilience and future growth.

How Accelya FLX Retailing Platform supports modern retailing

Working with Accelya and AWS, Hawaiian Airlines deployed Accelya FLX Retailing Platform to support indirect Offer & Order retailing and create a scalable foundation for modern airline retailing.

The AWS-powered deployment enabled Hawaiian Airlines to scale shopping traffic, strengthen operational resilience and support dynamic offer distribution while integrating with existing systems and wider transformation initiatives. In its first production year, the platform handled over 2 billion offers.

A scalable foundation for future retailing growth

The deployment provided Hawaiian Airlines with a more agile and scalable retailing environment capable of supporting future growth and evolving customer expectations.

By combining Accelya’s retailing expertise with AWS-powered cloud scalability, Hawaiian Airlines established a resilient foundation for richer, more flexible customer experiences across indirect channels.
