Accelya Announces Extended Partnership with Finnair Cargo to Support Commercial and Financial Operations

Windsor, UK – March 9, 2026

Accelya, a global leader in airline and cargo technology, today announces the renewal of its long-standing partnership with Finnair Cargo. Under this agreement, Finnair Cargo will continue to rely on Accelya’s Cargo platform as its core system supporting commercial activities, operations, ground handling and revenue accounting capabilities.

Through this extended partnership, Accelya continues to provide technology designed to support reliable, well-controlled cargo operations. Accelya’s Cargo platform enables air cargo carriers to advance the digitalisation of their commercial, operational and financial processes while maintaining operational continuity.

Accelya’s Cargo platform underpins Finnair Cargo’s end-to-end cargo business, ensuring accuracy in rating, warehouse operations, billing, and settlement across the network. Acting as a core commercial and financial platform, it keeps booking, pricing, and financial governance aligned, reducing manual effort and supporting consistent financial performance as operations scale.

As cargo operations become more interconnected and data-intensive, Accelya’s Cargo platform provides a stable digital foundation designed to support volume variability and partner complexity. The platform enables carriers to evolve their commercial and financial processes while managing operational risk in live cargo environments.

“This extension reflects the importance of stability and trust in the systems that underpin our cargo business,” said Gabriela Hiitola, Senior Vice President, Finnair Cargo. “Accelya enables us to operate reliably today, while continuing to modernize how we manage our cargo operations and strengthen the digital resilience required for the long term.”

“Cargo environments are complex and unforgiving of disruption,” said Andrew Wilcock, Chief Commercial Officer at Accelya. “Our role is to provide the continuity, expertise, and digital foundation airlines need to operate at scale today, while supporting the ongoing evolution of their cargo businesses. This partnership reflects our long-term commitment to enabling control and confidence as digitalization becomes central to cargo execution.”

The extended partnership reinforces Accelya’s role in supporting air cargo carriers as they adapt to emerging cargo requirements. Through Accelya’s Cargo platform, airlines are equipped to drive informed commercial decision-making and consistent financial outcomes as cargo operations become increasingly digital, integrated and data-driven.
