FLX ONE: Take Control of Your Retailing with Accelya's New Offer, Order, Settle, Deliver Platform

FLX ONE - Take control of your retailing

As I step off the stage here in Bangkok at the IATA World Passenger Symposium, I’m excited about the journey we’ve embarked on with our airline partners. This afternoon, I had the privilege of unveiling FLX ONE, our new platform designed to help airlines take control of their retail transformation in a flexible, open, and future-proof way.

At Accelya, we constantly strive for progress. We’ve been at the forefront of helping airlines modernize their retail strategies, and today, with FLX ONE, we’re taking another significant step forward.

Airline retailing has come a long way, but shifting from legacy systems to offers and orders remains challenging for many. Legacy systems often hinder airlines from delivering the seamless, personalized experiences passengers expect. Whether it’s a disrupted journey or the frustration of disconnected airport processes, travelers frequently feel the gap between what’s promised and what’s delivered.

That’s where FLX ONE comes in. We’ve designed this platform to give airlines the tools they need to take complete control of their retailing journey, breaking free from legacy constraints—from offer creation to order management, financial settlement, and even the final airport experience.

We chose the name FLX ONE to build on the heritage of Accelya’s proven, industry-leading FLX platform, renowned for its flexibility and openness. The “ONE” signifies the integration of all OOSD components into a single, cohesive solution—comprehensive yet modular—while also acknowledging IATA’s ONE Order standard. FLX ONE represents a powerful combination of innovation, flexibility, and seamless retailing for the modern airline industry.

One of the highlights of FLX ONE is its adaptability. Airlines can adopt it at their own pace without worrying about disrupting their operations. Whether you’re ready to replace legacy systems entirely or prefer a gradual transition, FLX ONE fits your needs and integrates seamlessly with existing technology. For example, we recently announced that Canadian airline Air Transat will be using FLX for NDC, which we integrated with their Radixx PSS. Integration is second nature for us at Accelya; we understand the complexities of this industry and can deliver for our customers, whatever their existing tech setup and future needs.

Unlike some providers, our solutions are not just concepts. FLX ONE builds on the same AWS-powered, cloud-native FLX foundation, already generating over 30 billion unique offers daily and handling more than 50% of global NDC bookings. It’s a real and ready-to-go solution designed to power the present and future of airline retailing.

FLX ONE transforms airline retailing by replacing outdated legacy systems with modern, modular components designed for a new digital transformation era. It provides essential tools for inventory management, product definition, and revenue accounting within a single platform.

The dynamic FLX ONE Stock Keeper offers real-time visibility, enabling airlines to efficiently manage seat availability and ancillary services. Our FLX ONE Product Catalog allows airlines to define, bundle, and personalize offerings, ensuring they meet customer needs quickly.

Powered by AI insights, FLX ONE analyzes customer behaviors and preferences, helping airlines refine strategies in demand forecasting, pricing, and product trends. This holistic approach equips airlines to deliver personalized experiences while optimizing retail operations.

Today’s travel is about creating personalized journeys, which requires robust financial processes. I’m excited to introduce FLX ONE Order Accounting, designed to modernize airline financial operations.

As airlines transition from legacy systems to Offer and Order models, FLX ONE Order Accounting connects front-end offers with back-end financial processes. These scalable, modular tool streamlines operations, enhances reconciliation accuracy and reduces manual work. This will be of significant interest to financial professionals in the airline industry, truly putting the ‘S’ in OOSD (Offer, Order, Settle, Deliver).

FLX ONE’s open, cloud-native architecture allows airlines to integrate with preferred technology providers, avoiding vendor lock-in. It’s a future-proof platform built on APIs that evolves with industry needs.

For airlines still using legacy Passenger Service Systems (PSS), FLX ONE Open Connect provides a smooth transition, bridging modern retail capabilities with existing infrastructure. This flexibility allows airlines to upgrade at their own pace, meeting the demands of today’s digital-first travelers.

With these components, FLX ONE is not just replacing legacy systems—it’s driving a digital revolution in airline retailing and offering a modular solution for success in the modern era.

As part of this launch, we’re introducing FLX ONE Delivery, which extends our platform to the airport. The final mile of the passenger journey—check-in, boarding, and everything in between—has been a pain point for too long. By partnering with leading airport technology providers like DXC and SITA, we’ve ensured that airlines can offer a smooth, connected experience from booking to boarding.

FLX ONE Delivery allows airlines to manage the passenger experience in real time, respond to disruptions, modernize customer experiences, drive operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and unlock new revenue opportunities.

I recognize that each airline is at a different point in its retailing journey. Some are just starting to explore offers and orders, while others are well on their way. What makes FLX ONE unique is that it’s not a one-size-fits-all solution. It’s designed to grow with you, offering value at every step while keeping you in control of your strategy.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your retail transformation—or just curious to learn how FLX ONE can help—you’re in the right place. I’m excited about what’s ahead and eager to see how airlines will use this platform to shape their future.

Thank you for joining us on this journey. I look forward to continuing the conversation. Let’s take control of our future together.
