airRM is Accelya’s market-leading revenue management capability within its ‘Offer’ solutions

Madrid, October 2, 2020

Accelya is proud to announce that Blue Islands is now live with Accelya’s state-of-the-art revenue management, inventory control, and reporting tool, airRM. The software will enable Blue Islands to identify sales opportunities, maximize passenger revenues, closely control pricing, and analyze performance.

airRM is a continually evolving airline revenue management system with ground-breaking tools that integrate and display critical information from multiple sources, enabling airlines to make better and more profitable decisions. The solution is currently used by more than 100 of the most successful carriers in the world.

“Blue Islands are now live and using airRM’s innovative RM tools. Functionality such as automatic flight performance algorithms allow near real time identification of future seasonal revenue and passenger growth potential. Unique detailed flight exception controls have enabled the team to identify daily booking changes and additional revenue opportunities more quickly. Furthermore, airRM’s daily processing and automatic trigger actions allow Blue Islands to understand future opportunities and react to future demand streams that flow through their various distribution channels. The close relationship between Blue Islands and Accelya project teams enabled airRM to be implemented quickly and on time” said Martin Gibbings, Senior Director of Account Management & Sales at Accelya.

Blue Islands Chief Revenue Officer Ronnie Matheson said: “The selection of airRM will significantly enhance Blue Islands revenue management capability by providing us with the necessary data-driven insights into booking behaviour and revenue trends, particularly in these unprecedented times for the airline industry.”

“In addition, airRM offers a superb reporting suite, which will enable us to incorporate critical data and intelligence into the revenue management process, such as our own targets. Every revenue management team is focused on extracting the maximum revenue possible for a flight and airRM will help us achieve that goal.”
