With this agreement Pegasus benefit from greater cost savings, confident in the fact that Accelya offers a secured and comprehensive solution.

About Pegasus Airlines:

Pegasus Airlines was established in Istanbul in 1990 through a joint venture of Aer Lingus, Silkar Investment and Net Holding. Launching its first flight in May 1990, Pegasus has come a long way on a journey that began with only two airplanes. Today, Pegasus now boasts a fleet of 36 aircrafts including the latest models of Boeing 737-800s. In January 2005, Pegasus Airlines was bought by ESAS Holding and is today managed by Ali Sabancı as Chairman and Sertaç Haybat as General Manager. The dynamism of this new board coupled with the expectations of customers, has created a new era for Pegasus, stimulating a period of change and reformation. The company reports its monthly punctuality on the Web and is Turkey's first airline with such transparency. Pegasus Airlines is the first privately-owned airline to have made such a large order of aircraft in Turkey.

In 2009, Esas Holding became the largest shareholder position of Air Berlin buying its 15.3% shares. The codeshare flights between Pegasus and Air Berlin will start in a few months.
Pegasus flies to 19 domestic destinations and 27 international destinations from Istanbul.
