(06/07/11) Copa Airlines and Accelya sign Net Remit 5 agreement

Copa Airlines and Accelya sign agreement to use Net Remit 5 travel agent incentives solution in the Colombian market.

Net Remit 5 is a comprehensive travel agent incentives solution that provides administrative support to the airline and handles payment for the agent in the same period in which the ticket was issued. In addition to Colombia, Accelya now offers Net Remit 5 operations in Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru.

With Net Remit 5, Copa Airlines can provide travel agents a special incentive or commission on sales for certain tickets that comply with specific requirements. The system processes all tickets and identifies which comply with established requirements. Net Remit 5 either automatically modifies the commission on each individual transaction to assign the incentive amount, or a consolidated ACM will be generated at the end of the month with the required amounts.
